It is extremely hardwearing and offers superb adhesion to other types of lacquer. As Advanced 2K Lacquer is black heel mark resistant, it is particularly suitable for commercial high traffic areas such as schools, sports halls, airports, offices, canteens, dance floors, staircases, etc. It can also be used on oak wood.
How to…

Advanced 2K is a 2-component lacquer that is activated by adding the Advanced 2K Hardener into the Lacquer. Advanced 2K Hardener comes in plastic bottle of 100 ml canisters.
It is vital to mix the hardener and lacquer thoroughly by pouring the mixed hardener into the lacquer and then shake well (do not stir). The mixture should then be left to stand for 10 minutes to ensure that the hardener is activated before use.
Advanced 2K Hardener is a newly developed, highly effective hardener that contains no isocyanates, making it much safer for users and ecological for the environment. Advanced 2K Hardener produces an extra strong 2-component lacquer and remains active for up to 5 hours.
1
Previously finished wood must be cleaned with WOCA Wood Cleaner to remove dirt, grease, wax and soap residues. Sand the surface with sanding grit 120 (final sanding).
2
Apply Floor-Primer and leave to dry. Sand the surface lightly with sanding grit 120. Remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner. Untreated or newly sanded floors also have to be vacuumed thoroughly before lacquering. The surface must be dry before the next stage of treatment.
3
Apply the Advanced 2K Lacquer undiluted with a roller or brush. Allow to dry for approx. 6 hours. Sand lightly with sanding grit 120 to ensure adhesion. Remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner. Apply another coat of Advanced 2K Lacquer.
4
NB: The waiting time between coats depends on the ambient temperature and air humidity. It is important for both the wood and lacquer to be at a temperature of at least 59°F and preferably 68°F, air humidity of approx. 55%. The room also needs to be well ventilated, but there should not be a draught.
5
The finished floor can be walked on with care after approx. 5 hours and light objects put back in the room after 24 hours. The freshly sealed floor will be ready for full use after about 5 days (laying rugs, etc.).

Product details
Diamond Oil is used for oil finishing of wooden floors with floor machine. The oil ensures an extremely hard-wearing, dirt and water repellent surface. Diamond Oil is ideal for basic finishing of any unfinished, new and newly sanded interior woodwork. Content of solvent is less than 1%. Floor machine is recommended for the polishing of bigger areas.
How to…

The unfinished woodwork should be freshly sanded with grit 100-120. The floor must be completely dry and free from dirt and grease before the oil application.
Recommended wood-moisture max. 12%. Product, room and floor temperature should be between 15°C–35°C (59˚F-95˚F). Ensure good ventilation at all times during the application and drying time.
1
The floor can be cleaned with WOCA Wood Cleaner mixed with water 1:40 if necessary. Leave floor to dry fully before oil application.
2
Shake oil container well before and during use. Containers with different batch numbers should be mixed before use to avoid colour differences. Apply the oil with a short-haired paint roller in an even coat onto approx. 5-10 m2 of floor.
3
Leave the oil to be absorbed for 5-10 minutes. If dry spots appear, apply more oil.
4
The area is now polished with beige polishing pad under doodlebug or with floor machine until surface appears saturated.
5
Polish the floor after using cotton cloth under floor pad to remove any possible excess oil. Continue stepwise till the whole floor has been polished. The floor should not appear wet and there should not be any excess oil left on the surface after polishing.
6
After 6-8 hours, the floor should be dry-buffed with Extra White polishing pad. If a silk-mat surface is required, the finished floor may be buffed with 100 ml. of Diamond Oil to 10 m2 of floor. This is done between 6-12 hours after first application. The oil must be polished carefully into the floor. Remove any excess oil from the surface.
7
After 24 hours the floor can be used with caution.
8
Tools may be cleaned with WOCA Solvent.
9
Do not expose the floor to water during hardening time – approx. 3 days depending on air-temperature and moisture (ideally >18˚C/64˚F and low to moderate humidity).
10
After the hardening time, the floor should be cleaned with Natural Soap or Oil Refresher, which leaves a protecting layer on the surface.
Regular cleaning: Natural Soap or Oil Refresher. Re-oil with Maintenance Oil or Maintenance Paste when required.
