View Upcoming Dates & Register Discuss a Wood Flooring ProjectSpecifying wood flooring begins with understanding the material before it ever reaches a project site.
From the Forest to the Floor explores the process by which trees become finished wood flooring. Architects, interior designers and construction professionals will develop a greater understanding of wood as a building material and how the production process influences flooring specification.
The course follows wood from responsibly managed U.S. forests through harvesting, lumber production and flooring manufacturing, then examines what happens after flooring leaves the manufacturer and the various methods used to install real wood flooring.
From the Forest to the Floor is recognized for continuing education by multiple architecture and interior design organizations.
