A SoHo loft gives a floor room to perform: long open plans, tall cast-iron windows and art on every wall. That is where a rare species earns its place. Our Listone collection includes four exotic species from Africa and South America, each milled to order in Umbria, Italy.
How Listone Floors Are Made
Listone is milled in Umbria using patented technology, and each floor is made to order, with species, grade, width, length and finish all customizable. The wood is thermally treated and kiln-dried, then finished with natural oils and UV-cured layers, and every plank is tongue-and-groove milled. Straight planks run from 5 1/2 to 7 1/8 inches wide in random lengths, and a 4 inch herringbone is offered in Italian, French and Hungarian cuts. See the full range on our Listone page.
African Wenge
African Wenge (Millettia laurentii) comes from Africa and is offered in Straight Superior widths of 91, 116 to 120, 141 to 151, 165 and 181 to 201 millimeters. Its deep tone pairs well with white plaster walls and pale stone, which suits the gallery feel of many SoHo lofts. Wenge also appears as a contrast species in our parquet collection, set against glacial oak and maple in Model #2.
Incense Cabreuva
Incense Cabreuva (Myrocarpus frondosus) is a South American species offered in Straight Superior widths of 116 to 120, 141 to 146 and 191 millimeters. It is also made as an Incense Cabreuva herringbone pattern collection, a strong choice for a loft entry or a long gallery wall. Like every species in the range, it can be supplied unfinished or prefinished with Oil-UV lacquer or natural oil. Compare it with our herringbone floors.

Palisander Santos Morado
Palisander Santos Morado (Machaerium scleroxylon) is another South American species, offered in Straight Superior widths from 86 to 186 millimeters. It is also the species behind parquet Model #1, a 20 millimeter tile made at 540 by 540 and 666 by 666 millimeters. In a loft, a field of Santos Morado planks with a parquet tile at the entry gives two looks from one species. Read more about parquet Model #1.
African Red Padouk
African Red Padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) is offered in Straight Superior widths of 101 and 141 millimeters, with 181 millimeters available on request. It can be finished in a low-VOC water-based polyurethane in Natural Matte, or in an all-natural, VOC-free flax-based oil. Padouk makes a bold statement in a single room, such as a library or a dining area within an open loft. Explore patterned options in our chevron collection.
