Our story begins with Joe, our founder, who started his career working for other companies—refinishing floors in luxury homes using the traditional products common at the time. He began to notice how many of those products came with strong odors and long off-gassing periods. It concerned him, especially when homeowners were preparing to move in with young children or newborns before the finishes had fully cured.
When Joe started his own company, he made a clear choice: to find and use newer, safer alternatives that still delivered the same level of performance and beauty. He believed—and still believes—that given the choice between high-VOC finishes and healthier options, most homeowners would choose the safer route. The trouble is, many are never offered that choice. Our work exists to change that.

We work with your architect, designer, builder—or independently. Either way, we bring the same level of communication, coordination, and expertise. And when professional architects and interior designers need their own floors refinished, they come to us.

Precision-milled to ¾” thickness in 5″ x 35″ dimensions, the flooring was installed over radiant heat and finished with pure WOCA natural oil, showcasing the wood’s clean lines and subtle grain for a timeless, elegant finish.
